Today we had high hopes of working on the Rock-N-Roll trail, but we only did a little on the access trail ditch which bikers had some endos on. It had gotten worse really fast.  
At the start of the day, used the Vermeer to load Turtle up with stone from the pile that is not so big anymore.  He went down the road adding stone to places he saw that needed a little.  Mostly though he added some to the new parking area and road around that.  Turtle ended up doing 3.5 loads. Gerry and I cleaned a huge mess out of the big 4 tube culvert near the rock pile.  I started with two new chainsaw chains on different saws and both were dull when done.  We had to cut the huge trees many times in order to left the heavy wood out of the very deep creek channel.  We pulled 4 stumps out using chains and the Vermeer.  We hauled all the wood into the forest so it would not end back up in the creek.  Plus you just have to get it out of the way for the next clean out.  We noticed a lot of the wood had been cut somewhere upstream which kind of sucks that someone let cut wood get in the stream to help clog up the culverts.  I have noticed when people cut fallen trees off the road or trail they very often roll the cut wood to the lowest drainage area which makes the trail muddy or the wood ends up in a creek.  When we cut, we always put the cuttings in a place where they will not cause a drainage issue at least to the best of our ability.
