Started out by loading Turtle's truck with pug mill stone. Then drove out to where the new access trail comes out. I used the Vermeer to improve our new parking area a little and make sure the road drains in the area which it wasn't at all. Also improved the entry area just enough to make it usable for a short time. Turtle spread the rock in areas they needed it on the way out. Then he did work by hand in the area I was working. Then we went up the access trail and cleared a very bad vine issue that was actually pulling trees down. I don't know what these vines are, but I never saw anything like this. It was the hardest chainsaw and clearing job I have ever done. I have cut up 36 inch diameter trees that was simpler. When we got to the Rock-N-Roll we roughed in a pretty long section of trail on a very steep side hill. We also knocked down the dirt piles on the hill side and spread them before they get rained on making it much harder later.
